Two women, only one who's getting it

Two women, only one who's getting it

I don't always tell people what I do.
Not because I'm ashamed of it - quite theopposite. But there's a cosmic lawthat any time a famous author is discovered, people will start asking them questions.
Even if it's not appropriate.
You see, was having a drink with a group of peoplerecently. I'd said I've written some books on personal development. Right then, this woman starts tellingme that she's got all these problems withher relationships; the men in her lifekeep staying distant and she's missing a genuine connection with someone.
I'd taken two breaths by then. She'd spokenso much that she'd needed to take 6 in thattime and didn't look like stopping any timesoon... but was wrought up about not makinga connection with people.
Interesting.
In a short time I also found out that she'dread lots of books, been on lots of coursesand spent time with lots of "gurus". She knew the words, she'd heard the lingoand could tell me what the latest fad was.
Which is why I didn't answer any of her questions.
here's what I told her:"Let's see if you get what I'm about to say.Think of a chair. It's one of the easiest things in the world.Just think of a chair. Any chair.
How many legs does it have? What's it made of?What colour is it?
I asked her if she could see it in her mind'seye. She answered yes.
How does it feel?Does it move or is it fixed? Is it for indoors or outdoors?
I got her to describe it.Then told her that wasn't the chair I wasthinking of.
Totally different thing in my head comparedto in her head... even though we'd usedthe same word, "chair".
She looked at me and blinked. (She'd stoppedtalking long enough to listen.)
I said, "You can know everything that a guruknows but unless you DO, you'll understandNOTHING."
That's why I write courses, kits and manuals.NOT books.
That's why I'm always getting my Gold Membersto DO specific things... because once theydo, then they get it.
Here's an email I got from one of my Gold Members. This is what I mean.
Hi Matthew!Well, in seven out of eight flights since I read, "Sleep Anywhere Anytime" (http://www.instantcalmness.com/sawat.htm),I have had sleep, glorious sleep. In 20 years of flying almost every week, sleep as eluded me. Not any more! Even at home or in a hotel when I usually toss and turn, certain ones of the tips works for me. For example, exercise, white noise, and commands. Long before I read that though I took your advice about caffeine. Just for grins I have cut back (not out though) beer. I feel better, sleep better and am very grateful for all of that!Thank you for your coaching.Lora
MW: That's excellent Lora. You're someone who gets it. You took action and got greatresults. I'm proud of you for that.
If those are the sort of results you wanttoo <$firstname$>, then take some actionnow and go to http://www.instantcalmness.com/sawat.htm.
And if you want ot see measurable resultsin your life then join the other Gold Membersall around the world who are taking actioneach day to conquer their fears and releasethe passion in them that they were born to express.

But if you're someone with the courage to take action - even actions that others mightcall "small" but make actions that havebig meaning for you - then I'll welcome youwith open arms. Because that makes you a DOER. Someone who gets it.
For a little while longer you can still go to http://www.instantcalmness.com/ic.htm and getyour first 3 Gold Membership issues for free.Make that your first action.

Women are happier at work than men

Women are happier at work than men

There's a 4% different between thenumber of women happy with their work, andthe number of men. Apparently chicks liketheir work more than us blokes...
(So says a very scientifically conductedreport by a HR agency, as reported bya free London newspaper)
Now I grew up during the feminism era whereI was told from a very early age that women and men were exactly the same. Goodadvice, apart from causing a few problems as a teenager when I started dating.
I was told that when it comes to work, women are no differenet.
So if that's true, and this newspaperreport are true (it's in the news so itmust be true) then that means that womenare happier at work because they wear skirts.
I wonder if a kilt would make me happier?
And do the Scotts enjoy their work morethan everyone else?
Maybe we should send those recruitmentagents up north to investigate...
Now I'm no fan of recruitment agents.
Sometimesthey are ok: I've had most of my jobs comefrom agents. But most of the time theyare a voyeur short of a nudist camp.
That said, this article raises a few good
points.Like money isn't the most important factorfor job satisfaction.
I've talked with lots of people about happiness and usually within a few questions I can zero in on where people's lives areat. Often money and work comes up.
Very often.
I was talking with one of my new members on
theweekend and she was an exception to thenorm. In fact it was really pleasentfinding out that she really liked her workand was earning and amount she was happywith.
But that's not the case with all of my members (at least, not when they first joined up and becaome one of my Matt'sMighties that is).
Unfortunately a lot of people think work, and their work in particular, sucks.
Most of the time that comes down to onebig killer. Nearly always, the people whohate getting up on Monday morning are the ones who aren't donig what they love.
Now I'm not saying do what you love andthe money will follow - that's not true.If you love consuming or doing things foryourself, the money very rarely comes.Hey, I worked in IT for 11 years - I knowmany people who play 4 hours of computergames each night and I'll bet 2 Super Marios to your Sim Lifes that that's not going tobring them any money any time soon.
But what if you love doing something forother people... Could be some cash theremaybe...
What a novel thought.
Doing something for someone else... and working out how to love it as well...
That's what a job is - doing something forsomeone else. And a business - that's also doing somethign for other people.
It's 11:39pm here in London as I write thisand I'm not doing it because I have to.
Can you say the same about where you'llbe for most of tomorrow and every otherwork day this week?
Loving your work comes before you can find work that you love. (that'll end upin a quote book some day)
And some peopel think they love their work;but they don't. Not even close.
Have a look at your local football fieldsand you'll see people who come togetherregularly (and usually on time). Theyrun their guts out, get hot and sweaty, risk pain and physical injury. Thenduring the week they'll often go to practiceand work on being able to play harder.Throughout the day they'll think abouttheir sport and in their mind they will beworking out strategy and tactics - maybeeven calling their team mates and talkingabout the game ahead or the one just
passed...
But they aren't even getting paid for it.
What about volunteer workers? How aboutMissionaries and aid workers?
Imagine if you could have that passion forYOUR work... Imagine if you could have thededication and zest for your work thatgets you up in the morning when you've onlyhad a few hours sleep. And gets you upwith a smile.
What would your life be like?
Matt's Mighties don't need to imaginebecause they are doing it. These men ANDwomen are building their lives into morethan just a day to day existance. Many of them are already doing it. Thesespecial people are making their lives into a piece of art... something that can lookat and be proud of.
These people are doing what they love into
the middle of the night, because they love it.Others aren't doing it more than an houror two - because they can.
Maybe you're not ready to change your liferight now. Maybe it's too hard. Or maybe
yourthe type of person who prefers having ajob they hate so they can relate with morepeople. If that's you then I can't help you.
But maybe you're like the other special menand women all around the world who went tohttp://www.instantcalmness.com/ic.htm andbecame Gold Members and put themselves intothe path of an abundance their small, oldself couldn't even imagine. If that's youthen you won't want to waste another dayclocking in while your love of life slowlyclocks out.
Remember that even doing nothing is still achoice.

3 cliches that hold a secret stress-free key

3 cliches that hold a secret stress-free key

Just pulled a meffin out of the oven. Carrot andbran and none of that crap you find at the shops.
There's a smell that's unique with a homemadecake. Maybe you remember your Nan on a weekendpulling a tray of amber and golden toppednuggets, steaming gently with a warm aromaof butter, sugar and love.

For me it was my mother and my older sister thattaught me the pure, simple pleasure of decidingwhat's going into the mixing bowl and seeingthe delight on people's faces when it comesout of the oven.

Tonight it started with a thought. I was sittingin my room after coming home. The London darkness of dusk and of creeping storm cloudswas turning the walls the colour of a postal worker's soul - grey and faded...that grey that comes from underwear that's been washed for too many years... (think aboutit - it's surprisingly apt).

Suddenly the room lights up with an idea.

"I know." I'll make a carrot juice and put the pulp into a cake. Hey I'll put some of those freaky grains I've got as well. Someartery clogging butter, some ass-wideningsugar and some cholesterol raising eggs too.

Whack it in a food processor and 6 minutes later that thought really becomes a half-baked idea. The oven bakes the ideainto something that fills the whole home withthe essennce of that idea.
The alarm dings and the pleasure rains from theopen oven door.

There you go.

Meaning of life in 8 paragraphs.

As my teeth sink into that soft gooey goodnessI started thinking about someone I was talking with recently.

He was telling me how much he really wanted a realtionship. (Ok, I'm thinking. Good so far).Without adding a period to that statement he's already telling me how he doesn't want a relationship where they endup fighting and nagging and bitching with each other and acting like children and...

It starts with a thought - an idea.

And then the actions come from your thought.

There's a cliche that says "Be careful what you wish for - you might actaully get it."I've been told that the Chinese say "Mayyou get what you want... and want what youget." Napoleon Hill said in his book 'Thinkand Grow Rich' It all starts here (I'm tapping my head as I'm writing that... :)

What you want starts coming to you themoment you start wanting it. As you start moving toward it, it starts moving toward youeven faster.

You tell me what that man is going to get.Is he going to get a mouthful of carrot-flavouredgoodness or a mouthful of venom and spite.

He wanted to become a member so I gave him what he needed at that moment. A kick in the butt to break his story and a reminder ofwhat he wanted... not what he didn't want.

Sometimes that's all you need from a coach - someone who'll remind you what you say youwant. I have seen many times in my life that the more you think about what you want, the more it comes into your life.

That's why one of the first things I ask my Gold Members to do is to tell me what theywant. 2 reasons. Because they are telling themselves what they want and so I can helpthem remember it and make it happen.

Every month my Matt's Mighties get a brain-jolt sent direclty to their mailbox. They get life-changing tips, gripping stories and empassioned motivation to grow each of the five areas needed for a long and happy life.

One of my Mighties said she was blown away byhow shocking I was - I didn't pull any punchesshe said. And she loves that. Another GoldMember said he waits for it each month wantingto study it for the new ideas he gets flashingin his brain listneing to the CD.
New members from all over the world have been taking advantage of my free trial test offer. That's where I decided to test giving away thefirst 3 months membership into the AdventureCoaching group that makes regular officeworkers and business people into Mighties. You can read more at http://www.instantcalmness.com/ic.htm?s=tem)

For less than a lunch at a City restaurantyou can try out 3 months of high level vibration that makes men and women worldwide sit up and listen to that quiet voice inside them begging them to live their dreams and grow beyond the life they haveimposed on themselves.
Last weekend I was talking with one woman whowas uncomfortable hearing about my membership. She thought the problem was me and my words until she saw that she was uncomfortable from the tension of her holding her real self back. She was scared to become a memberbecause she felt me awakening a power inside her - a feeling she saw was dangerous...because it might shatter the illusion ofhow small and helpless she was acting.
Everybody feels that trembling feeling ofemotion. Some people pull away from it and give it an excuse called "fear". Other people, mighty people living their lives call itexcitement and don't run from that fear - theyUSE it to power bold, confident actions.

You'll get that feeling. If you're human you'llget that feeling often. What are you going todo? Are you going to run from it and makean excuse. Or are you going to use thatfeeling to take a bold action forward andbecome the person that you feel deep inside?

Not acting is the same as choosing "no". Everymoment you have a choice. Every moment, themoment is all you have. You either hold backor you go forward... onwards and upwards.

Special Announcement

Special Announcement

This is HUGE!

I've just made a major change to my InstantCalmness Gold Membership. That address ishttp://www.instantcalmness.com/ic.htm?s=tl

Was walking through London today and got hitby a blinding flash of the obvious. (That's when you realise something really important, but when you think about it is pretty obvious)

I've had questions from people asking about my Gold Membership. They've said they like the idea but they just aren't sure if theywant to commit.

So it hit me... just give it away.

I've never been a big fan of guarantees. Peoplesay all the time that if you have one, you'llget more sales. But something always irkedme about them.

Here I was trying to show people how to buildself-esttem and self-reliance and then saythat you don't have to take responsibiltyfor your choices on the other hand...

When you buy a house, does the agent say "Hereare the keys, and if for any reason you don'tlike it, just return it within 90 days andyou'll get your money back."
Nor when you buy a car, stocks... even a computer.

It didn't feel right, so I didn't do it (yet).

But walking around the city today, I got an idea - and it felt JUST RIGHT.

Let people have the memberhsip. Just let themtry it out. Give them a long time to see itand they'll stay with you.

You see, at the moment, nearly every one ofmy members was already a customer of mine. They'd seen the work already and they liked it.

But today I got a glimpse of what new people feel when they first come to the site...They don't know me from a bar of soap.

So why not let you find out.

Like I say, this is huge and I had to tell youabout it. Check it out at http://www.instantcalmness.com/ic.htm?s=tml

2.5 steps to build stronger self esteem

2.5 steps to build stronger self esteem

Was sitting, looking out the window anddid what I often find myself doing...thinking about how to better explain confidence or describe how to buildself esteem.

I'm writing another book at the momentand this ones specifically about buildingconfidence.
It's so ingrained in my mind right nowthat even in my off moments, I'm workingout even better ways to say it, show itor get it through to people so it sticks.

Welcome to Planet Matt.

In my mind I was having a discussion withsomeone I know about how to become more confident.

Sometimes these discussion go easily.Other times they get tough and I need toreally work at creating new ways for my"audience" to get what I'm saying.

Reckon I'm crazy? What if I told youmy audience even argue with me?

Crazy as I may be, how well do you thinkI handle people asking questions in seminars?Or people heckling when I'm in groups?

So, let's just say you want to be confidentwith your boss at work. What do you thinkyou might want to do? Or talking in front of crowds of people you don't know?

So far both examples show you using twosteps to become confident. "Where's the .5" I hear you ask...

If I was to ask you what confidence reallyis, what would you asnwer?

Like I say, 2.5 steps to building a stronger self esteem.

The first time I helped a woman standup to her boss she didn't believe thatit would work. She was telling me againand again that she couldn't do it.

She worked at a semi-government agencywhere her boss told her to lie tothe people in branch offices to get themto stop calling head office asking for help (that was ruining their support figures).

This woman's boss was so domainant inthe office that she ruled the place with fear and impunity - how else could shedirectly tell her staff to lie and get away with it?

It took a while for this person to reallylisten to what I was saying butshe finally tried the 2.5 steps. The very next day she just putthose 2.5 steps into practice and comes back to me really excited."They really work Matthew! Just like you said it would."

She was able to stand up to her bossAND keep her integrity at the same time.
And that's really important. If you can't look yourself in the mirrorthe next day, you haven't becomeconfident... you've just become an asshole. And nobody wants that.

In this month's GOld Membership you'llfind out about financial confidence:how to be rich AND happy.

Every tax time you get shown how muchyou make during the year. If youhave ever looked at that number and said"Where did it all go?" then that meansthat you've got guilt with youridea of money. And you'll never allowyourself to be rich.

This month, Matt's Mighties will discoverhow to squash that rotten belief likethe cockroach it is.
You can still become one and get one of the remaining 84 copies for new members by going nowto http://www.instantcalmness.com/ic.htm?s=t.

Take Action.

PS. You can let this offer slip by andit won't make me sad. I'll still live well in a beautiful place with a peacefulfeeling looking at my bank balance whetheryou join or not. Why YOU need to be rich

Why YOU need to be rich

Walked in the door tonight and I'm so emotionally exhuased I feel like every part ofme has been drained and has been scrubbed fromthe inside like a fish tank being scraped ofalge.

My body has been sick with a cold since lastweek - it's the first time I've been sick forover 2 years. It was so foreign a feeling thatI've had friends ask how I am and I've shockedthem by how excited I seem (even though my eyeshad sand in them, my nose ran an ocean and my skin was so hot you could use it as a BBQ).

But Friday night was the start of a weekend workshop with an old guy with some crackinginsights. Every time I listen to this guy speakI become opened up to a part of me that canonly be described as raw. That part is insideeach of us and it's powerful, scary and soexciting.
In the next few days I'll tel you about someof the heart stopping experiences I had - and I can assure you there were many... minutes listening to this guy speak packs in so muchmeaning and electricly-charged feeling you'reshaking more than a kid downing a gallon ofcoke with a hershy bar chaser.

Last night I wrote my list of what I wanteddone today. This morning I was charging throughthem. I pounded through 6 of them in 37 minutes.

So I gave myself a big task for the rest of theday - and had that goal begging for mercy by9pm.
But I'd given it everything I had.

My mind is still sharp and my body could runa marathon but my emotions are so drained I'mfeeling like an accountant at a bar with nobeer.

And that's when I opened my door.

Today was the day my cleaner comes. I can'tdescribe to you what hit me as I walked in andsmelt a sweet smell in the air. The clean, empty surfaces almost overwhelmed me. The organisation made me stagger.

Here was a person who spent 3 hours of her lifetaking all my messy piles and thinking aboutwhere to put them so they are away, but stilleasily accessable.

In every room was palpable evidence of care, attention and benevolence from another humantoward me. I'm talking so much energy ofpositivity everywhere I looked - behind the ordered collection of spices in the kitchen, in front of the lined up cookbooks and above the surface of the spotless stovetop.

I kid you not that in my current state of sensitivity, this was like energy I could directly feel.
This woman was referred to me and she set herown price - which is paid gladly every week.In three hours I make far more than I pay, soof course I'll do it.

How can I express such gratitude for life? Iget to go passoinately for my goals, giving EVERYTHING I have toward them; then come homeand be blown away by the care and attentionof someone ELSE doing the cleaning for me.

Of course it wasn't always like that. I rememberbeing the sole breadwinner and having a negativenet worth - our credit card debt alone wasbigger than my pay.

But I changed.

And because of that change I'm not still in thatcrappy old rental with rusty pipes and couch that feels like a vinyl covered milk crate.

A wise man said something to me - and thankfullyI listened. He said, "The only differencebetween you now and you in 5 years time isthe people you meet and the books you read."

I listened to what he said to me. I did whathe told me. I learned, and now I come home to a bed with fresh sheets; perfectly straightened; pillows lined up...

In this month's Gold Membership I'll be helpingmy Matt's Mighties to be rich. Whenever I do,there's a part of my talking to that guy backthen... the guy who was eating store brandbrown rice because it was 4 cents cheaperper kilo. The guy who dreamed that somehow hisluck would change, who hoped that it would, butwhen he was alone couldn't chake the doubt thatmaybe it wouldn't.

Only in this month's Gold Membership will you discover:
* the power of knowing why you need to be rich
* why the love of money is the root of all GOOD
* how you can make extra money in abundance by starting out small
* why becomming rich (I mean REALLY rich) is all mental

You won't be hearing how to pickstocks, which properties make barrelloads orwhat business to start up.

Because even good advice that works will leave you ruined unless you have the rightmindjob. Got something wrong upstairs aboutmoney, and nothing you read or hear wil work.Got it all golden upstairs and gold is whatyou'll be seeing in YOUR life.

Gold Members will be finding out somethingmore important than "How". Matt's Mighties will get something more powerful at making your wallet-pocket bulge than a six-pack of swimsuit supermodels visiting a teenage boy'spool party.

The way to become a gold member is to join athttp://www.instantcalmness.com/ic.htm?s=fs. I have 87 spare copies printed this month and I'm expecting them to go FAST so unless you wantto be the guy or girl who's humping it to work you hate for a pay packet that sucks, you need to crack your ears open and listen tothe noise of your own abundance pounding onyour door.

Sincerely,
Matthew David White

PS. I'm not messing with you when I say I'm seriously expecting those 87 spots to go fast. And when they're gone that's it for this month.NO REPRINTS. Get with the group of actiontakers at http://www.instantcalmness.com/ic.htm?s=b
